The Inauguration celebration included a ceremony and reception held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, as well as a Bobcat Stride morning walk; RecWell Day; Breaking Boundaries: Women in Sports & Media; Faculty Talks on AI and Scholarship Exhibition; Roaring Start: 5K Run/Walk; Men’s Ice Hockey versus Maine hockey game; and a hike of Sleeping Giant with President Hardin. In addition, Quinnipiac hosted a sports equipment drive to benefit youth sports leagues in our community, and a Soles for Souls shoe drive for redistribution and recycling.

Marie Hardin, PhD, began her role as Quinnipiac University’s 10th president on July 1, 2025.
