Barbara Nadeau is a Clinical Professor and Chair of the Occupational Therapy Department.

With over 25 years of experience as a licensed occupational therapist, Dr. Nadeau brings a wealth of clinical expertise and academic leadership to her role. She holds a Master's Degree in Neuroscience and a PhD in Adult Learning and has been recognized for her contributions to both the clinical and educational realms of the profession.

At Quinnipiac, she is known for her student-centered teaching approach and expertise in instructional design and on-line learning.

Dr. Nadeau's research interests include brain injury, caregiving, disability and the use of qualitative research methods, particularly grounded theory. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she frequently presents at national and international conferences.

Dr. Nadeau's service in the community and profession includes co-facilitating a brain injury support group, serving as a mentor in AOTA's New Educator Program and as a reviewer for manuscripts published on The Scholarly Teacher blog.
