Dubin was one of 11 students awarded, earning $3,000 to excel in her education and career journey.
The NYWIC program was established in 1998 and has awarded more than $2 million through its scholarship to more than 400 women across the tri-state area. Students who live in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania can apply.
“The Quinnipiac communications program has helped my career goals flourish,” said Dubin. “It has given me opportunities that I never thought imaginable. I am grateful to have met so many people along the way that really make me feel like I’ve found my place here.”
To collect a wide range of skill sets, Dubin serves as a communications ambassador for Quinnipiac and as the social chair for Quinnipiac’s figure skating team. Dubin also freelances at ESPN+ as a camera operator.
“I am extremely grateful and honored to have received such a scholarship to further explore my passions and interests,” said Dubin.
