“We at Quinnipiac are very honored to be recognized,” said Jason Burke, director of veteran and military affairs. “The mission focus and hard work of our veterans and military-connected students are key to QU’s high ranking. That, coupled with our wonderful faculty and staff, ensures these warrior-scholars are supported and provided with an environment for camaraderie, collaboration and success.”
Schools that achieve the Military Friendly® designation show true commitment and dedication in their efforts. This recognition provides schools with a benchmark that promotes positive educational outcomes, resources, and support services that better the educational landscape and provide opportunity for the military community.
Institutions earning the Military Friendly® School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. More than 1,800 schools participated in the survey, with 665 schools earning the designation.
The Military Friendly® Schools list will be published in the May issue of G.I. Jobs magazine.
