Monday, January 27: Tabling and general information will be distributed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. outside of the 3rd floor elevators on the North Haven Campus and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the North Haven Dining Hall.

Tuesday, January 28: A documentary will begin at noon in SLE-350, telling the story of unaccompanied teens from poor Guatemalan families who are enticed to come to the U.S., only to be forced to live and work against their will at a Midwest egg farm.

Tuesday, January 28: Two trafficking experts will debate the myths and challenges of the fight against trafficking, and how well-intentioned efforts to fight trafficking have backfired at 6 p.m. in the Ceremonial Courtroom.

Wednesday, January 29: Sex trafficking affects not only women and girls, but also men and boys, as well as trans individuals. At 6 p.m. in the Ceremonial Courtroom, a male survivor will discuss his experiences – how he got drawn into “the life,” his experiences as a victim, and how he managed to escape and rebuild his life.

Thursday, January 30: Quinnipiac Law Human Trafficking Project has trained hotel workers, teachers, medical professionals, and public defenders who will be discussing the Human Trafficking Prevention Project at 6 p.m. in the Ceremonial Courtroom. This general training will: define sex versus labor trafficking; identify the victims, the traffickers, and the buyers; explain how traffickers target and lure their victims, while identifying the signs of trafficking and how to respond.
